1. The Grand Palace

Visit Bangkok's iconic Grand Palace and marvel at the stunning golden statue of Phra Nara, surrounded by intricate architecture and lush green gardens.

A Glimpse into Thai Royalty

The Grand Palace is an iconic landmark in Bangkok that's totally fabulous. This was the King's pad for over 150 years, and it's packed with stunning buildings and temples, including the famous Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). Be sure to take a ton of pics to share with your besties, and show them how to do Bangkok with style!

To get to the Grand Palace, take a taxi or tuk-tuk, or hop on the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin station and transfer to the Chao Phraya Express boat. Get off at the pier and walk to the palace - easy peasy.

2. Wat Pho - Reclining Buddha

Wat Pho is a temple that's straight WOW! The highlight is the massive reclining Buddha statue, which is super Insta-worthy. There's also stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and intricate Thai art and culture. This temple is a must-visit for any traveler looking to experience the rich history and culture of Thailand.

Let’s go Bestie! Take a taxi or tuk-tuk from the Grand Palace, or take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin station and transfer to the Chao Phraya Express boat. Get off at the Tha Tien pier and sashay away on foot.

Experience the beauty of Thai culture at Wat Pho's stunning Reclining Buddha, a must-see attraction on any Bangkok trip.

3. Chatuchak Market

A Shopper's Paradise

Chatuchak Market is the ultimate shopping destination in Bangkok. With over 15,000 stalls selling everything from clothes to home decor, it's perfect for your next haul. Bring your bargaining skills, and don't forget to show off your finds on your IG stories!

Grab your wallet then take a taxi or BTS Skytrain. I recommend BTS because it’s cheaper. Get off at Mo Chit station, cross the flyover, down the stairs and follow the signs to the market - it’s just few minutes up ahead. You’ll see the crowd!

ProTip: Go on Sunday afternoon. Less crowd and the sellers would be wanting to get rid of their wares = bargain heaven!!!

4. Wat Arun

Gem of Chao Phraya River

Wat Arun is a stunning temple that will take your breath away! The colorful glass and porcelain tiles are mesmerizing and the view from the top is absolutely epic. You won't want to miss out on the chance to capture some amazing shots - show ‘em your #WANDERLUST in Bangkok!

How to get there? I thought you’d never ask! hehe… Just take a taxi or tuk-tuk from the Grand Palace or Wat Pho. Alternatively, you can ride the Chao Phraya Express boat to Tha Tien pier and then transfer to a cross-river ferry to Wat Arun. I did this river ride - it was lotsa fun!

5. Khao San Road

Khao San Road is the ultimate backpacker's paradise in Bangkok, where the party never stops! This vibrant street is packed with budget accommodation, street food, and endless bars and clubs. If you love nightlife and living your best life, Khao San Road is the spot for you. I, on the other hand, gotta be in bed when the club starts at 11pm so it’s a no for me. 🤣
